
1. Agreement Overview
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Buyer Ready BRIEF digital product (BRIEF) supplied by AJ Stafford Pty Ltd ABN 58 091 863 384 (we, us, our). By purchasing or accessing BRIEF, you (you, your) agree to these terms.
2. What you are buying
BRIEF is a digital education product designed to help you understand key steps to become buyer ready. BRIEF is not a buyer advocacy service, not a valuation, and not a substitute for independent professional advice.
3. Payment and Billing
BRIEF is a one-off purchase of $27 (AUD) unless otherwise stated at checkout. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment method available on the order form.
4. Access and delivery
4.1 Access is provided digitally via the platform specified at checkout.
4.2 You will receive login details by email (or create a login during checkout). You are responsible for keeping your login secure.
4.3 Access is provided for 12 months from the purchase date unless a different access period is stated at checkout.
4.4 We may update or improve BRIEF content from time to time.
Members are prohibited from copying, sharing, or distributing any content or resources without Our express written permission.
5. Additional Services
5.1. Users may have the option to upgrade to additional services, including but not limited to:
● The Off-Market Property Portal;
● The Assess and Negotiate Service; and/or
● The Full-Service Package
5.2. Upgrades to the Off-Market Property Portal will require an application process, including a questionnaire to determine the Member's eligibility (e.g., pre-approved finance and available deposit funds). To avoid conflicts, only one applicant with a specific search criteria will be accepted at a time, with a waiting list provided for others.
5.3. Fees for these additional services will be determined during the consultation phase and are subject to separate agreements.
5.4. Users upgrading to the Assess and Negotiate Service or Full-Service Package will be required to sign further agreements specific to those services.
6. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
6.1 We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
6.2 Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, we will provide that remedy.
6.3 If you experience access issues, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to assist.
7. Your use of the BRIEF System
7.1 BRIEF is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.
7.2 You must not copy, reproduce, record, publish, upload, distribute, share, on-sell, or disclose BRIEF content (in full or in part) to any third party.
7.3 You must not use BRIEF content to create a competing product or training program, or for any commercial purpose, without our prior written consent.
8. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in BRIEF (including video, text, templates, checklists, branding and course materials) are owned by us or our licensors. No rights are transferred to you other than the limited licence in clause 7.
9. General information only and no reliance
9.1 BRIEF is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, credit advice, or a property valuation.
9.2 You should obtain independent professional advice relevant to your circumstances before making decisions, including finance, legal review, contract review, building and pest inspections, and valuation advice.
9.3 You are responsible for your decisions and actions. We do not guarantee outcomes, including your ability to purchase a property within a particular budget or timeframe.
10. Third-party services and links
BRIEF may reference or link to third-party websites, tools, or services. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their availability, performance, accuracy, or terms.
11. Platform availability
We aim to provide reliable access, however we do not guarantee BRIEF will be available uninterrupted. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
12.1 We exclude all liability for loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, BRIEF, including indirect or consequential loss.
12.2 Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying BRIEF or the cost of resupplying it, or otherwise limited to the purchase price paid for BRIEF (at our option), except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to BRIEF immediately if you breach these terms, including sharing or distributing BRIEF content. In that case, no refund is payable.
14. Privacy and communications
14.1 We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy
14.2 By purchasing BRIEF, you consent to receiving emails relating to your purchase and access. You may also receive follow-up emails about related services. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version displayed on the checkout page at the time of purchase applies to that purchase.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
